After a thorough wash (had clay barred it the week before) I used painters tape to cover the stripe edges and other areas that needed protection from the buffer pad, and put down a layer of Adams Swirl and Haze Remover;

and then after it dried, took it off with the buffer using Zaino All in One;

http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/...uct_Code=Z-AIO

The technique I used was to use detail spray on the 1st orange pad with the Adams, for each section of the car. Put on pea sized amounts in either 3 equally spaced portions (triangle shape), or 4 smaller ones (square shape). For each application of product, hit the pad with one shot of detail spray before the Adams. Then after the section was done, repeat until the car is done. Then remove the orange pad, replace with the white pad, hit it with more detail spray (Zaino Z6), and remove the Adams haze with the Zaino polish. This is much thinner than the thick Adams, so I just drizzle a uniform amount over the pad surface. Once the Zaino dries, remove haze with micro-fiber towel.

Then spray down with detail spray to remove any residue. Then stand back and enjoy the results. More pix tomorrow of the whole car.

Requoting that big post of pix, um, not a good idea.

I thought for a second you had added a white stripe but then I found out it was tape. I thought it looked so awesome, and it still does. Rr with black stripes is awesome!

I agree! Went to a friends place yesterday, running at 125mph down the autobahn. Note the 2008 DHG Bullitt (looks black but is DHG).

the fastest I know I have gone is 165mph, according to my GPS since the speedo wants to stop at 160.

One big drawback of owning a new edge over the newer body. 150 is scary as hell in a new edge vert. I would love to see how fast I can get her to but that's pretty damm fast in that little body.
