Nice, enjoy the leave! Gonna try to make it out to Spain at some point during the next year! Could use some time on the beach!

70 Boss 302, Grabber Blue, no rear window louvers or Shaker scoop. Aftermarket aluminum slotted wheels.
Bought in '78 for $1500.00 in poor shape. I painted it, rebuilt the trans, rear end, steering box and lots of other items. Sold in '84 for $2850.00, kids....
$2800 seems cheap now, but it was a lot of money back then. Also, I prefer the Boss without the shaker. I think the car looks better IMO.

Thanks for sharing the photos.

Nice driving. The car sounded great too. Did they have any mods or the plates out of the side exhaust?

I agree. Ford could use that on a brochure. Very professional.

Yep! I won't run on the track with cast wheels. I've seen a few too many come off of a car.

Did you have to replace the wheels studs? I thought I remembered reading you had to for the original 302s wheels

You do for the 302R wheels (18x10), not for the 302S wheels (18x9.5)

Very cool. If you're anywhere close to where I'll be, give me a shout, we can grab a cerveza or three.

It was a bit weird in some places, but I enjoyed it. It was fun watching the local community get all spun up over having a big Hollywood production right here in our little town.

Each car was brought up to LS spec, and the front brakes and rear pads are changed to take a constant track beating. Side pipe plates removed.
