Rick, that CJ grille looks GREAT. Were there any fitment issues, like the website alluded to?

 

Thanks. No fitment issues at all. Just like I was told it fits perfectly, no different than the stock grille. So other than the QC issue I'm very happy with it. Here's a photo of the whole car.

Got & installed the GT-500 axle-back mufflers on mine yesterday.
Tone is deeper, not too much louder. I have my side discs opened up to 3/4".
I painted the back face of the GT-500 axle-backs before install with hi temp black.
2 minor things I didn't like when I got the Boss, the double tipped mufflers & how they stood out under the rear valance.

Daytona Prototype, we ran a weekend at Homestead Miami Speedway on the Grand Am course (NASCAR turns 3-4) with several Grand Am cars on the track with us. Needless to say it was very cool, more pics and vids here

Which splitter is that on the car?

 

Splitter is the Ford Racing bracket inside the bumper, the rest is home made (splitter from a PVC sheet, rods etc.).

The trackweek was off the hook, I was nervous going in having never run the banking there and running with the Grand Am guys. Turned out it was one of the best times I ever had, the Grand Am guys was very professional and all day long people used point-bys (even if we did not have to) when they could and gave you plenty of room. The DP was running very easy the whole day, maybe he was new getting use to the car

Just picked it up last week, I was reading the thread about the low oil during break in. Little worried about that. Everyone having the same problem? Mine only has 200 miles on it right now. Oil change around 1000?

Car looks great. I changed my oil at 1500 just before my first track day. It was pretty dark, I guess from the break-in.

 

Saw this on the Mustang FB Page for dirtiest Mustangs. IT IS NOT MINE! I guess they were driving under 40 degrees by the look of the snow packed in the splitter.

 

OK so maybe there's some credence to the foglights being closed off, as some idiots are actually driving these cars in snow
