I don't know much about that down force stuff, but in the book from the owners package (or was it the DVD) they said during testing the wing goes with the LS splitter to get correct balance, which includes the front/rear springs and the back seat cross brace. I believe also was something about the stance.......even though the car has rake it was better with it.

Yep. I'm using the stock wheels for the track and I mounted Toyo Proxes 1's on them and I'm scrubbing them in before a track day. My SVT wheels with the Pirelli's will be going back on in a couple of weeks.
