My GF and I stopped in Bitburg for some lunch and (a brew) on our way to Hockenheim a few weeks back. We drove a fair bit around the town looking for a spot to park, would have been great to come across you then. 
On our way back we did stop at the Ring, but it was closed for a private lapping day.
How fast did you get your car up to on the 'bahn? How did it feel? Mine has a distinct vibration that comes on above 100mph, I'm guessing I need a pinion alignment to go with my 302S suspension.

Dude you gotta tell me next time you're coming into the area! I've topped out the Boss's governer on the bahn already. It's smooth, but the hood flutters above 130.

I hit that hood flutter too. Very unnerving. I think it moved upward more than 1 cm upward in turbulence from another car.
Get her out there and wag that tail!!!
