That was a very cool video! Really like the tune as well....can't go wrong with AC/DC. I would say the lucky person that owns that pair is very blessed. That 1970 is truly a work of muscle car art.

Waiting is the hardest part of getting one of these vehicles! I just purchased one yesterday....but I have to wait until this Thursday to pick it up. Evidently they discovered an oil leak in the oil cooler so it needs replacing. I got to drive it a whopping 4 miles.

I ordered a Race Red '13 Boss 302 from M&M Ford on April 2nd, got their only allocation of the year for MSRP. That was just awesome for me as when I went shopping for a '12 last year, every dealer I talked to in NH or MA had already sold them or wanted a 5k ADM or higher.

Dealer in Manchester had 2 '13 Boss 302s in stock at 10k over MSRP, and when I looked just the other day, the GB was gone, but the SBY still listed for 10k over. Wonder how much the GB sold for, think one of the sales weasels would give an honest answer? The other Boss vid on my youtube channel was the CO '12 Boss they had on the floor last year, also with a 10k ADM. Had to test fit the Recaros to see if I fit, I have a long torso for a 6'3" tall person.

What color is yours? Did you get the Recaros? Welcome to TMS.

I hear you on the price....I was apprehensive because of the mark up. I went to see the Boss I purchased...with full intentions of ordering a GT Premium with Track Pack etc....since I could get that for several $K less than a Boss. The dealer surprised me with MSRP...no questions asked. I think I got this because they actually picked up this vehicle from another dealer and thus it wasn't their allocation.

My Boss is Performance White and a Plain Jane at that. The only option ordered on the vehicle was the floor mat/car cover combo. I had really wanted Recaro's and Torsen....but not enough to pay $5K over sticker...so I'm happy as can be...to be in this very limited club .

Thanks for the compliments guys....I think ANY Boss looks great. Had I had the choice, time and $$$$$$.....I would have gone SBY. I was a young kid when Parnelli was driving that beautiful yellow 1970.....It's burned into my memory just like my first ...did I mention all the Boss's look fantastic.

The one thing the old Bosses have on is new guys, is that shaker hood. Would have loved to have an option for it.

 

i have thought about that myself.. and the only thing I can come up with..
its really over done through the years....like the shelby stripes over the roof of the car.... and Mach 1 has the shaker... Im sure you could add a fake shaker to the underside of the hood with a little modification...
I have thought about it, but again I don't want it to start looking like a shelby.. know what I am saying? With all the scoops and stuff it would be easy to do.
and I love shelbys btw.. I just think the boss needs to stay with a look of its own, and so far the guys modding them have not went over blow..... At least not yet anyway..
