yep, always nice to meet fellow mustang fans. met a member last weekend at the track (eagles canyon raceway) and gave him and his wife a ride along for some hot laps. i'm horrible with names though and forget his screen name and real name. he has a black LS and is going to hit the track, the cool part is his wife was as excited to race that LS as he was. my wife wont even ride in my car! it makes her "flop around" too much she says.

 

That's hilarious, my wife doesn't like to ride in mine either because "it makes me car sick."

 

We should start a thread on that.....
My wife is the same way and she has her own Mustang....she just doesnt like the passengers seat.

Thankfully Shane beat me to this post... otherwise 'I' might have been confused for a car salesman... or even Corey (I'm about 1' 6" too short for that). Corey is good about keeping the enthusiasts up to speed on what he has available... if I can post it and help out someone who helped me get a car, I'll do it.

I bought my car from Corey @ 5-Star and have nothing but great things to say about him, 5-Star and all of the other staff I met with while I was there.

I have to second this. I bought my Boss from 5-Star in June. Not from Corey but I've got to know him since then. He's a great guy that loves to talk cars. I've also had a couple of warranty issue they've taken care of and I've been treated like royalty. I have nothing but good things to say about them all at 5-Star.

 

I can vouch for Shane not being a car salesman but a guy trying to help fellow Mustang owners (or a future one) out.....I'm the guy he gave a ride along at ECR and he was more than helpful with questions I had about tracking my LS. He is also a hell of a good driver and extremely smooth.

 

I knew you were around here somewhere. Your wife hit you up for her own Boss yet? You going to the Feb 25 event at ECR?

I'm not trading, i am having a lot of fun in the car. I don't think a normal guy will end up with 0001 for 13, the dealership that gets that car will know what it is this year and it will have a six digit price.

Hahaha! I got my wife into her 335i Sport pkg and she loves it. I think she will like the Boss just fine. She was complaining earlier this year that I hadn't taken enough time to teach her how to drive a manual since she wants to drive the boss when I get it. She has no problem with me getting the car but she wants the house first. Which is fine. A parking garage is no place for a Boss. It needs a home with tools.

 

Spoke with Corey. Very nice guy, but the dealer wants 5k ADM on the LS, and 2k ADM on the regular 302. I passed.

Can't see myself paying within a couple of grand of the ZL1 for a LS.
