Isn't it possible to just buy a new 69 body shell from dynacorn or year one and just build a 69 Boss 302 from scratch, seeing how all the parts are available and it would be more proper than a conversion, what do you think the possibility of doing this is?

But I would suggest putting in a new OHC 302 in it.

 

Not sure what you mean by "more proper" but a Dynacorn body sells for about $16k. You still need all the trim, fenders, hood, suspension and drivetrain. You could easily double that $16k with all new parts and paint. The big issue would be the VIN if you are thinking it would be authentic or something. Even if you could find an original VIN for the car the purests would thumb their collective noses at it if no other reason than it was not built with genuine Ford parts.
