with the official introduction being that press release, I think of the car was going to have any of that stuff it would have been in there. I might be wrong, but i don't think the 13 gets anything like track key or launch control.

After waiting nearly 8 months (4th qtr allocation), I finally got my VIN today! Reading all the hype and possible xtras for the upcoming '13 (possible rear end changes, etc.), I was starting to second guess myself and possibly hold out for a few more months. Then, after seeing pics of the new '13, I am very glad that I am getting a '12. I am not sold on the new front end and the fact that it looks so similar to the GT500.
That being said, I finally got my VIN, printed my window sticker, and getting ready for an early Christmas present!

I went through the same thing; I had the option of waiting but the thing that swayed me were the reports of the GT500 shark snout and the color choices. I was dead set on orange. I know that there will be better/faster Stangs in the future but I absolutely got "bit" by this car. Everything that it is got me to lock it in as my garage queen for the next 25 years. V8, the color, the true manual, live axle and best retro look on the road. Good choice

If I could do it over again, I would have ordered the 2013 Boss instead,
First I always liked the new Shelby front end,
Second, I love the new tailights,
Third I like the track apps,
Fourth, I was complaining about our stripes not being reflective,
And number 5 would be the Hood is very nice including new rear bumper.
My wife thinks Im outta my mind
Maybe Im just spoiled..

I dont get the complaints about the 2013 Boss 302 front end looking like the GT500 front end? It's not like the Boss 302 had ANY unique looking front-end for the 2012 MY; in 2012 it looked like a GT with the CS lower valence? I'd rather get confused with a GT500 than a standard GT...

That aside, I don't think anyone who is waiting for the 2013 will be disappointed. Nor are those of us who have purchased the 2012 Boss, it's friggin' awesome!

I will also say that the 2013 SBY LS is the first yellow car I have ever lusted after.... maybe it's just b/c it's the "reveal" pics and I'm in the gawking faze, but **** that looks freakin good.

If I were UnrealFord, I would sell the 2012 Boss and buy a 2013 Boss. He would probably get back almost what he paid for the 2012. He would be happy and so would his wife.
I am sure there are alot of people who would love to own a 2012 Boss. He should have no problem selling it. The 2012 Boss is one fine looking car without all those electronic frills.
