went to NHMS for some roadcourse time..... first time out at a roadcourse with my car..... i was about 3 seconds of the records in my class...... not bad

i ended up with HAWK HP plus pads in the front, removed the break dust shields and changed out to dot 4 fluid....... i changed the pads out the night before and i could def smell them under hard breaking ..... but never noticed any fade..... i can deff see the wear on the pads i think i should get 4-5 track days from a set of these...... changing these is so fast..... by myself i think it takes longer to get the tire off..... lol

first session out saterday 1:30 was my best
second .....1:25
third and final 1:22 i finaly had a lap or 2 without traffic.....

i also had some video issues so i only have a few laps of actuall video from my cell...... and a few from session 2 with HEAVY traffic from my gopro

The track look pretty fun, a lot of elevation changes. Boss sounds great too.

 

I was able to stick behind you 100ft back on your final session first lap, then traffic popped out... Still had a blast. Looking through the pictures you got me I noticed something interesting right at the bottom of the hill...he was maybe 6ft away chillin with a clipboard or something lol.

Key question, you said you were just 3 seconds off the best time in your class. Was that on stock tires or something like Hoosiers? Reason I am asking is if the class time was set on Hoosiers and you are running on stock Pirellis, you may be right at that time now with just a rubber change?!

 

I think i'm going to sign up for the next event!
