Hey everyone, I'm back!! Its been busy, and with that, I can't get to a computer as much as I like, but I try my best. That said, I have been eagerly waiting for Ford to upload the 2012 Order Guide (nothing yet), but I went onto CONCEPTS anyway, and on the VOC screen, I used year "12" and body code P8C and hit "2" for stock order. When I move the cursor to the Order Code entry lines, I hit my "help" button, to see if there is anything new.

GUESS WHAT!!! THERE IS!!!!

BOSS 302 ORDER GUIDE CODES!!!

558 is the BOSS Package
677 is the BOSS Racing Package (Laguna Seca, my guess)
18B is the BOSS Interior Package (Recaro seats from Leguna Seca car)

Now, that said, take what I typed with a grain of salt, as these codes can change. The screen that showed the codes, have 4 columns, for each Order Code (300, 400, 401, 402). And not everything listed on the side had an "X" in a column (for example, the 402 column had the Cali Special X lined up with that option. There was NO marks for where the BOSS package will be slotted. Will it be a base car, probably not, but maybe a 400A, but again, this is early stuff entered into the system, probably by mistake, or not even given any thought.

But there you have it, signs that there is more things coming on the horizon in regards to BOSS 302 order information. When I get something new, I'll post it as soon as I can!!! Hope this gets some people excited. Talk to you all later!!!

44X = 6 speed manual transmission.

Correct, but I can't tell which code is for which color. Historically, a white stripe code ends in the number 2, while a black stripe code ends in the letter X, so this is quite different (as it should be???).

 

"IF" we get a choice, then I'm changing my color choice, was Orange, now it will be Red with White stripes.

White w/ black stripes and I'd likely be a buyer. Too bad the LS won't have black stripes as an option or I'd be all over an LS silver car.

That would be very doubtful. The BOSS interior Package is probably the race Recaro seats from the Laguna Seca car as they will be an opiton for the regular BOSS.

 

Only takes me 2.5 hours to drive to Portland from Kent. Portland is one of my favorite cities, so I'm there frequently to get away from Seattle.

 

+1. That's the plan. Standard on the LS, optional on the regular Boss.

 

I wonder if the rear seat delete will be in the LS only. I wouldn't mind having the Recaro's with a back seat for my daughter.

I also wonder if black w/ black decals is possible.

And I'm hoping HID's will be available.
