Here's another photo of the same car. Looks to have a roll cage in it.

Better pads won't help cooling, but they will be able to withstand a much higher temperature range, repeatedly. Race compounds are engineered to be effective up to 1600*F.

Didn't watch the video, will do that later. Got word from one of the teams running the 302R that they regularly spin to 7800 without issue

I'm not surprised the pads weren't up to snuff, pads good enough for that weight and power level wouldn't be fantastic cold on the street.

I've beaten the hell out of the brembo GT pads (think red/white dusting and glazing), and while the pedal did get soft, they still gave me repeatable good stops on track.

Not sure why the photo keeps disappearing. Photo #2 at this link shows the red/white Boss with a roll cage.

After looking, I really like the all black wheels on that RR/white 302.

From the leflanenews article

"If you can come up with an extra $302 for the “track key,” do it. "

Sounds like we know an official track key price!

Reviews are awesome. Kinda wish I had ordered one instead of my GT. I hope you guys don't mind me heavily raiding your FRPP spare boss parts bin.
