New to the Boss Family
New to the Boss Family
Hey Guys,
I traded my '07 Vette Z06 for a '13 Boss 302. Two different cars, but I love the Boss more already. I'm looking for a trusted, reputable Mustang shop in the Dallas area. I trusted my Z06 to LG Motorsports, but they're a Chevry house primarily. I'm also looking for the best transmission and differential fluid to make the shifter a little slicker. Any advice or tips y'all can offer me on the BOss are appreciated. Thanks in advance guys.

Congrats. I sold my 04 CTS V to get a PW Boss and haven't looked back. First of all, for different mods I've been using 21 Century Muscle Cars. I know they are a Lingerfelter shop, but they have a number of Mustang customers.
They installed my MGW shifter. This is one of the best mods; completely changed the car into a power shifting monster. mgwltd.com
I'm not sure that you'll have to change the fluids. I checked with the Service Director at my servicing dealer (Grapevine Ford) and they checked with Ford for me and the later production units had the right stuff from the factory.
I also added Roush Axle Backs. Loud, real loud; but really added to the car.

Do a search for Boss 302's with MGW. Check out the website and give George a call. He will talk to you and take the time to tell you what to expect.
All I can tell you is, it will be one of the best Mods you can do for your Boss. I never miss power shifts anymore, and the 2-3 is awesome. And no, I'm not going into R when trying to get into 1st.
I live in the Trophy Club/Southlake area. If you want to test mine, just let me know.
Some Boss owners swap out OEM trans fluid to Redline fluid.
