Myself and Boss 302 RR #2 in the Detroit News
Cool little article about cruising on Woodward and what it means to the younger generation so I brought a full race spec mustang out to Woodward.
A Boss 302 RR is the same spec as a Boss S except we built it at RR from a street car so it has a VIN and then added some better parts/extra stuff the Boss 302 S doesnt have.

p.s. Overboost car makes a cameo at the end of the video

Very cool!
That "302 RR" is awesome. I'm sure it's raw and loud, but I'd DD that thing in a heartbeat just to be able to drive it every day. That's the downside of the 302S, IMO... I'd want to drive it more often than just at track days.

Actually I just noticed that the exhaust goes UNDER the axle in that configuration! Any issues with someone pinching one while straddling a curb or some such endeavor?

race curbing never. obviously it affects ground clearance though. But its a lot more direct path and it really makes the HP.

well it makes different Hp depending on what series its running in. The car (with minimal parts changing) is legal for NASA American Iron, SCCA World Challenege GTS and Grand AM GS.
However you wont see me publishing the #'s for any of the classes online, c'mon guys.....
Now the question I can ask and tell you the answer is how much of a gain over a stock style exhaust system this style exhaust is good for

Do your competition cars run the stock headers?

yes its required by the rules in GTS if I remember right..... I cant recall for sure.
But either way the factory headers do the job just fine.
