I like the idea of adding the Ford blower kit. It isn't going to wildly imbalance the car like adding a KB Mammoth or something. Hitting the low 600 WHP mark should increase the fun factor but save the tranny.

I like the Ford/whipple kit, looks clean and as if it could have been factory. I just hate taking of the nice looking Boss intake. I wonder if there is a place that could make me a nice cover to go over the super charger with the Boss letters like the intake has?

Any idea on how much the graphics are in case I wanted to put them back on later?

I don't but it is what it is. You could always do aftermarket but it probably won't match the stock decals on the side.

The 2012 stock hood stripe is somewhere in the neighborhood of $300. Since the 2013 is a combination of multiple stripes, I suspect you would be looking at something similar, but perhaps a bit less.

It would be less expensive to get an aftermarket solution, but there is the match that you have to worry about if you do.

I just installed a set of Eibach pro springs last night, wasnt bad at all. It took me alittle less than 2hrs. I think Im gonna go ahead and order an adjustable pan hard bar and camber caster plates then get it re-aligned in a few weeks.

Any thoughts on track key vs. CAI and tune? Whats the best CAI/tune for the Boss? If i decide on holding off on the forced induction.

You can't use a CAI with the Trac Key from what I have read, that and I think most of the tunes say they can get you the same HP. I have heard wonders about Shaun at AED, I would see what it costs for a CAI and then a custom tune.

I got the Vorshlag cc plates..Vorshlag is in Plano. Call Terry Fair, owner.
...very cool as able to raise corner at the track and dial in a bunch of camber.

I got my CAI/SCT tuner thru Five Star Ford(Dallas Mustang)...warranty intact. @ DM dyno measued 402rwhp. Call Corey White @ Five Star and Archie @ Dallas Mustang.
I did not do track key as I HEARD in March, that my 100k CPO warranty MIGHT get shorten to 36k due to track key. I don't the latest news on TK.

Ping me should you want to see the cc plates, CAI and tune :-)

The reason I'm asking about the Track Key vs. a CAI and good tune is because I havent had my Track Key installed yet so I was wondering if I should just keep the voucher and go ahead with a CAI and tune. If I decide i wanna go back to stock i can reload the stock tune from the tuner and then have the track key installed. Once you flash over the track key its gone is what i was told.

I was told the same thing today by Dennis Ramsey of Ramseys Performance. He said for me not to have the track key done, or else he couldn't cold air kit it, kooks headers, etc.

Want more power and keep the cool Boss intake?

If you've got the cash, the Hellion Twin Turbo kit is worth a look.

you can get a tune after you get the trackey... just have to use the silver key and never use the redkey again while the tune is on the car.

I say mod that boss. I am lol. only thing keeping me from doing a SC or turbo right now is 1. the cost 2. waiting for one that doest require removing or moddifying the car in such a way that cant be returned to factory. Just me. If you dont care about cutting up the boss I like the paxton novi 2200 as its a large blower that you can grow with and it retains that sweet intake.
