That and the fact you guys got more Boss Mustangs than all of Canada, or so it seems.

Yes, I think we had 70+ days over 100F this summer. It was bad this summer, thats why I'm taking full advantage of the nice weather now.

We already have salt on the roads

Put the car away on Dec. 1, and probably won't be out till after April 1.

I had mine all cleaned, covered and put away next to the motorcycle til spring, and then we had a run of warm (mid 40's) weather. I caved to temptation and have discovered the Boss handles quite well in our Pacific Northwest rain. I'm sure we'll get a cold spell and he'll go back to lockdown in the garage, but I'll take these warm days where I can get them.

Moved the Boss to the new garage last week, so took it for a short road trip to ensure it got hot enough to evaporate condensed water out of the system. We've had way above average temps so far in SD, and Gary is taking advantage of it. Maybe I'm too **** about changing oil then parking for the winter to prevent acids from building up.

Yes At this point I'm not sure I'm going to even put Stabil back in the tank when I do finally park it again We're only about 11 weeks from mid-March when we usually get some nice days to get it out and drive them. Looking at the forecast I'm seeing 50s later next week so I'm not sure when it's going back undercover at this point. Global warming rocks

Oh yea, no overheating at all. I think it was the new hood that made all the difference!

Not paying for a $700 barrel of fuel oil every 3 to 4 weeks means more Boss $$$$.
45 degree Saturday forecast. I'll go for a fun run between 60% rain showers. And then go to the neighbors to help put an Aeroforce gauge in my Boss's twin.

I say don't put it away until the snow starts falling and the salt goes down. I see our Canadian neighbors have had some snow already. Is the snow still on the ground up there?

Turned to slush which was washed away with rain. If it freezes tonight should make driving tomorrow fun.

the only reason to endure the texas summer is that we get to track year round and if it gets to below freezing more than a few times it's a harsh winter. It was 66 yesterday. i washed the boss in shorts! granted when you guys are loving the mid-70's in june it will be 115 here.
