yeah an older gt500 not a 12 with its upgrades and svt pck, and yes i know heatsoak and this and that over the boss with its n/a engine.

I like the Boss just think that laptime is misleading as a 12 gt500 with recaros and svt pck should also run it and see what it comes out with.

Most people on this forum never go to a track very often i would bet and some never will.

I really want a boss as i think I actually would spend the weekends at the track and it would become a hobby that i could let off some steam with.

really they are all ford mustangs in the end and we are lucky to have these choices.. everybody needs to stop forum racing as it is getting quite old fast

But the Boss with the option cost $43 vs $53+ for the GT500. It doesn't matter that some will never see a track. It's about knowing what the cars we own are capable of.

 

true just not here in canada, the gap is 3-5k as right now you could buy a gt500 for a large discount and no discount on a boss at all.

i am going to take a hit if this happens for me but thats okay

 

Buying a car is almost always a losing proposition. Just enjoy your GT500 and don't worry about it.

 

oh and a LS well i would end up paying about 5-10k more here
