I'm all for replacing the stock mufflers with GT500 or ROUSH units if taking the restrictor plates out of the sidepipes isn't loud enough

I wonder what that would do to the sound tuning that has been done with the quad system.

from s197ford's previous posts on this subject it appears he's been involved or is very close to the R&D on the exhaust (check the videos he's posted on youtube). He previously stated that the exhaust is very loud with the plates removed from the side exhaust so I don't think changing the mufflers is going to be necessary. Plus I bet the whole system is tuned with those mufflers.
