Well, I own a Boss and an Elise, and both cars are fantastic machines in (obviously) totally different ways.
One thing is for sure, though: the Boss does not give anything away to the Lotus in the handling department, which was a massive surprise for someone like me, who grew up in Europe believing that US muscle cars could only put their power down in a straight line. Yep, things have changed for the best![Big Grin](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
And don't let one ignorant bloke give you the wrong impression about Lotus and Lotus drivers: they are great cars, with a community of passionate owners who are quite knowledgeable about other brands and appreciate them.
Enjoy your car, no matter what you drive, and don't let stereotypes get in the way of your fun

The a-hole is technically right, you do not really race the car.

I tracked with the LOST group (Lotus owners of south Texas) last weekend. Great group of guys for the most part and my car seemed to get the most attention and tons of positive comments.

[QUOTE=ShaneM;6243941]nah ive met many cool lotus drivers at the track, this guy was a douche and just happened to drive a lotus. Where in texas are you? DFW area? you should hit the track with us, seems a group of boss owners will be at eagles canyon raceway on the 25th.
I'm in Arlington. Thanks for the tip about ECR; I'll definitely be there, but as a spectator this time since the Boss only has 700 miles on the odo and still needs its TracKey. Won't be long before it sees a track up close
