I've said it before. The boss is a great car. If it had a supercharger, no vinyl stripes, no snowplow on the bumper, better looking wheels, and gt interior.

 

I had a Lotus +2 and a Lotus Europa which I turbocharged.

There are more Mustang owners that think Mustangs can only go straight than Lotus owners and a good deal of them are on this forum. How many times have you heard "Mustangs are muscle cars" indicates muscle between the ears I'd say.

 

Sounds to me like the guy with the lotus watched the US "top gear" and went and bought him one because Tanner Foust said it was bad ***!!!

True and I don't think Mustang Boi's are any exception or anything. Met a GT DUB owner the other day. Crooked hat and pants below his azz were just to much... I don't get it, never seen Nelly wear his stuff like that. He had plenty of tips about how I should pimp my "plain" Boss out. Problem was I hate the show Pimp My Ride.

lol, you are right joe, he should have bowed and asked for the honor of kissing the running pony emblem. i don't think this car is the best on the road, he was just a straight up ****. i kept talking to him because he was someone my friend was obviously interested in. i kept thinking at first that he surely didn't mean to be such a **** and then as time went by it was clear he was looking down his nose and intended to be as rude as he was coming off.

 

You should have simply told him that he was the first male owner of one of those cars that you had ever seen.

Or asked him if you could sit in his car. Then get in it, start coughing badly and get out. Tell him you are allergic to excessive perfume.

Tell him you saw that the Home Shopping Network chose it as their Car of The Year.

Suggest to him that you didn't know that Lotus made an electric car. When he tells you it isn't then ask if it is some sort of hybrid.

Tell him that you planned on buying one and sat in one in the showroom. Problem was that there wasn't enough room for your hands or your feet.

Based on your initial post, my assessment was that his response was stereotypically Freudian in nature. He saw you as a threat and thus attacked you by pointing and laughing at your (as he saw your car) manhood. A weak defense mechanism that signifies insecurity on his part.Most females pick up on this.

Dude was busy running game on your friend and you called him out in front of her. He might have been in the middle of something. Then you got punked. I think he let you off easy. I would have been much harder on you just for the hell of it. I doubt if he bought the car to race it anyways. He bought it to pull tail.
Nah. He called out his friends new cheap exotic car driving beau. The upsetting thing is that he stopped to check out a Lotus, and a Lotus guy would never stop to check out a Boss.

It's amazing how you guys expect to be honored by every car guy on the road. I've seen 3 Boss 302's on the road so far and almost missed them because of how bland they are. I know car and driver was impressed but not all car guys give a rats *** about the boss. You guys fall into the same exact category as the corvette guys and the Ferrari guys at the car shows. Except y'all are a lot cheaper.

I would love to road race my car but unfortunately I'm not a body mechanic. If you road race and haven't spun it off the track, you're not doing it right.

 

lol, that's not how it happened. ive known her for many years, i txted and asked if it was her dad, wanted to invite him to the track. she said no, it's my "friend" come over and say hi. i thought sure, maybe its another guy down for track time locally and he turned out to be a ****. i didn't expect him to be nor care if he was impressed by my car, just turned out he was a tool. and FTR she is literally a friend, my wife and i knew her and her ex-husband for many years, been to the lake with her and her brothers and dad many times. It's not like i was encroaching, she's like a sister.

I suspect the reason Al likes this guy and is defending him, is because Al has a lot in common with lotus dic*. i say we dub al CobraDic*, can a mod change his screen name please
