I'm going to clean it up good today so I'll check the stripes. As for the MGW I really liked the one in my 05 GT so I might do it down the road. She is going to stay stock for awhile.

 

Cool, good luck with the stripes, hope they are fine. Tons of guys, including myself, at BMO are going with MGWs, so there will be no shortage of feedback within the next few months going forward. Looks like it takes at least 5-6 weeks for them to ship as they are made in batches.

Was wondering if it's possible to describe 'new car smell' in the Boss, as it has a cloth interior? The only new car I owned had leather, so that was the predominant smell inside the cabin.

I have a CO 2012 Boss so take my opinion with as many grains of salt as you'd like. When seen in pictures GB looks pretty good, but in person, it looks very smurftastic.

Congrats on the new Boss! If they had Grabber Blue available might have been my choice, but very happy with my Comp Orange.

I have to say, the stripes really help that color out alot. The color by itself is kinda mehhhh, with the stripes its kinda boinnngggg. Same with the gthig. Love em!

can you give us some feedback on the boss vs.the 11 gt500 when you get some meaningful seat time? I love my 12 boss, but am considering adding a 13 gt500 to the stable so would value your feedback.

I can answer that since I own both. The Shelby is a hoot to drive and it handles well. ( I have the SVTPP) I wish it had Recarros like my Boss though. When you get into boost make sure it's pointed straight and it will melt the tires in 1st / 2nd gear. It's comfortable to drive daily if needed but be leary of the Goodyears in sub 55 degree weather. I just added a TVS blower to it and now it's a real monster !. I love the power ban on the Boss and you can rev it to moon.

I'm the same way. There was an all blue GT there and it did nothing for me. I've always liked Grabber Blue with a mix of some black. I wish they still painted the roof black but oh well.

 

Congrats on your new boss. I'm actually a month away from closing on my new house purchase and would of gone with the 2013 GT500 if the house didn't work out. Enjoy your new boss looks amazing!

 

I'd agree the GT500 is a beast and I'm sure the 2013 will be even more so. I did a lot of driving yesterday in the Boss and I enjoy it more so far. The power is more manageable so it equals out the power disadvantage on the street since you really can't do much with the GT500 until you're in 3rd on street tires. There was no way in hell I was going to drive it around on drag slicks. I really like the stock exhaust sound with on the Boss much better. It just makes things feel faster. Handling is on par with the SVTPP on the GT500 and of course the Boss feels lighter because it is. I'm sure I'll have more thoughts later but right now I feel real good about my purchase.
