Laguna Seca Intake

I remember seeing from the SPEED documentary that there was a different design for the Leguna Seca Boss intake other than the black finned one that we all know. Was that just a pre-production design feature or do the BossLS actually have it?

Both are the same parts. Engines are the same between Boss 302 and Boss 302 Laguna Seca.

That was a preproduction intake. It was included with the Grabber Blue LS that was auctioned for charity at Barrett Jackson early this year.

True. It's just the aerodynamic difference in the paint molecular structure that reacts with earth's magnetic field and gives the LS the performance advantage.

Is that the manifold that has the same basic dimensions but looks like it might have been cast out of aluminum? Any pics?

Thanks Rick! Just when I thought I couldn't want that first Grabber LS you have to go and show me it has the Evel friggin' Kneivel edition intake!!! I LOVED E.K... From the little rip cord motorcycle toy to the Snake River jump man he's been a hero of mine my whole life. I mean which kid didn't say to himself before a death defying feat, "I can do this, I'm Evel friggin' Kneivel."

That intake was a rapid prototype (SLS material).
