Dude, The Splitter has like at least 25 fasteners not to mention taking off the small splitter first and the underlying hardware.......not a quick job!

Wow what a lot of hardware. I see an application of Velcro, for show/display duty!
Wonder how many LS owners will actually use the splitter?

So far, pics are the only way that I've seen a Boss 302...still waiting, and waiting, and waiting, etc.
Mark let's tell the truth, we hate him LOL. That is one beautiful car. I can't wait. My car and Mark's car are stuck on the slow train to the southeast. Have a blast man and it sounds like you'll have the 1k miles on by next week.

I'll go with you and we can take turns driving it. We are only having fun and we are glad to see someone get their car but I am jealous, LOL.

I gotta come up with a plan. Somebody smarter than me will figure it out, and then I'll 'borrow' their idea. I just want to at least have it on for the car shows. Track is a different animal.

You guys will have to stand in line to take swings at me - my wife says she'll rent out her rolling pin.

Pain - too much rain the next several days. I may not get to drive it until Saturday at the earliest, and then more rain forecasted next week. Until then I'll keep reading about y'all picking yours up

I do admit to be constantly looking at it... "Hi, my name is Vince, and I have a problem..."

It's not. On the other hand, I'd rather have this than my WRX. I can't keep the bits on the front from wanting to fall off...

I have heard that the actual LS splitter is not as deep as shown. They found out that it didn't need to be as large as it is pictured to have it function as intended. I guess we'll see when they get delivered.

I heard this also, but I wonder if that would change the number of mounting points ?

Maybe you can tell us when..... LOL

Still 23 fasteners plus the two support rods. This does not look like an easy addition at the track. I'm worn out just doing the usual stuff to get ready for the first event, let alone messing with that. I guess if you were doing a 3 day maybe it's worth it. Oh well, I'll be curious to hear the first writeup of an install. The other factor is how much difference is it REALLY going to make in lap times for us amateurs out hammering around on HPDE days. I honestly think the Laguna Seca looks better without it, for non-track use.
