So I've been toying with the idea of picking these up for the track and just keeping my stock wheels. Any body try these. These cost nearly half the cost of most tires in 18" and 19".

Does the sanctioning body require street tire for their track event ? Otherwise, get slicks.

You can get scrubs for about $100 a piece.

do they have the front size you need? tire rack usually has nice reviews, i looked long and hard for tires and i don't recall seeing those as ones that would work. typically that means if they have one size needed they didn't have the other.

 

Haven't tried them, but Car And Driver tested them and found them to be amazing in the dry, but scary in the wet.

For these, you'd have to run a square setup. And I just read that review. I really really wish they made rs3's in this size. I think that is the best compromise track/street tire. And they're symmetrical so you can swap them
