Hit Nashville Super Speedway before it closes at the end of this year...what a FINE facility.. Nice garages and track layout...sorry to herar it is closing.
While there I managed to earn my "John Deere" sticker with my FIRST and probably NOT my last off course excursion...the LS IS certified as an "off road vehicle" right?! No damage except to my EGO and needing a change of drawers!

 

How fast were you going when you earned your sticker?

 

I was around 55-58 according to the speedo...just enough to give me a good "pucker factor!"

 

Congrats! It's good to get an excursion out of the way early in your experience. I did it the first time out in my Cobra R at Roebling Road. Only I was going about 80 when it happened. My buddy called it the largest dust cloud in the history of the track..no harm done, except for my ego.

 

StillIntense.....I am down in Savannah. We should meet up sometime at a track event! I know there are a few things going on in our area in the near future. Let me know...
