JLT oil separator

Has anyone installed the JLT oil separator? This looks like a necessity considering the high revving engines and the amount of oil I have noticed being burned.

I agree we need them, I am looking at 2 possibilities the JLT and the Steeda oil separators. Advantage to JLT is that it includes the hoses. Steeda requires you to cut the originals. I also think we need to get two...one on each pcv hose pass side and driver side.

I have the JLT for both the passenger and driver side. I have only seen very little oil in the driver side.... However the passenger side sees a lot of oil. I think it is a very good piece and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I have the JLT on the passenger side. As others stated, very little shows up on the driver side so it's probably not needed. JLT revised the fitting on this intake side from plastic to aluminum as there were some failure on the plastic ones. They were good about fixing it and I give them on their customer service.

Here is the new aluminum fitting:

I have the Steeda separator. It came with an extra stock hose to cut, so you can keep your original intact.

I had one on the pass side since month 2 last year and then when the blower was installed I had Evolution install it again. It still had about the same amount of oil every couple of hundred miles even after the vbower install. I expected the blower to cause MORE blowby and it actually stayed the same

This thread made me curious, so I checked. ~2000 miles since the first oil change and installation of passenger side JLT OS. Looks like 1/4 Oz in the glass. Not worried, as I had some high speed track time.

Although this is about the 4.6, thought it might add to your discussion.
