Installed Brake Ducting today...
And holy crap, I didn't expect it to be that annoying. The hose is quite hard to get on the backing plate for the rotor. I ended up splitting the end a bit and clamping the little bit that I could slip on there. I couldn't get an intact rib over the pipe. I had a little better luck with the bumper ends.
I can't believe how much it rubs with the wheel at full lock though. Not that you really can have much motion in that position, but still. Is this other people's experiences with installing the ducting as well? Do Laguna Seca models do this as well from the factory or do they have superior routing skills? There's just no way I saw to prevent it from rubbing while being zip tied to the sway bar as suggested.

I notched the back of the plate in four spots, to get it to bend in a bit, much easier to slide the hose over and clamp it. Did this also on the other end, on the plastic piece that replaces the fog light delete piece. Notched the back in four spots, got the hose on a good inch plus then clamped it.
As for zip ties, I did not tie it to the sway bars as recommended, just used some of the existing holes in the body to tie it up. I have no issues with rubbing on the drivers side, and minimal on the passenger side.

I've installed two sets. My first set didn't come with instructions. I've done both with pulling a couple of coils out of the hose and clipping it off with side cutters. Instructions with my second set said to remove the coils. I just made sure that the end of the coil sits directly under the hose clamp, so that the cut tip can't poke through the outer silicone hose.
No contact on either set, but I protected the first set on the Boss with duct tape. The set on the GT is zip tied loosely, and works just fine.

Squirt WD-40 inside the hose then "screw" it on to the backing plates and fog light openings. Takes 2 mins per.

I got back under her yesterday and tidied it up. I got some more zip ties and cut back some of the wheel well plastic to make it fit under the body better rather than running along side it. I think I got most of the rubbing taken care of. Still, I expected better from a $400 kit.
