OK in reading through all the threads here about the delays with the cars. i know some guys on other forums that claim to have ordered 11 GTs in October fro a nov-dec delivery. the cars never got built and they ended up with 12's in January time frame. i hav ea Q4 allocation for my car so i am just wondering if the works is still backed up in a few months at what point does 12 boss production end and 13 start? my dealer told me that typically orders for the next year model are in Q4, but he could be full of crap. the used car guy that i dealt with to buy my trade told me to not be surprised if they call and try to buy my car in 12 and get me to upgrade to a 13 boss. he said on limited run cars like Shelby's and the boss the only way to get a decent stock is to talk customers into trading up. that kind of struck me as funny. he said they usually had to go over msrp new for used Shelby's to get them thanks to mark ups.

 

While it may roll into 2012 it will still be a 2012 MY Boss. 2013 MY won't start until all the 2012 Boss cars are built. While things look bleak now Ford could get caught up pretty quickly if all goes well. Be patient.

I doubt that a fourth quarter build would be a 2013 Boss. The Boss 302 appear to have their own bulid schedule. I would suspect the 2013 Boss models will be built in first quarter 2012.
