Since I have an order for a Q4 Boss, I found this thread to be very interesting. I contacted my dealer to find out what's up and he stated "It looked like they were going to pull it a few weeks ago but did not." It being my Q4 allocation.

He went on to say that the production numbers for the Boss are way off (we are nearing the end of Q2) due to demand for the 5.0 in the F150.

Interesting to see how this all plays out...

I thought it was the V6 that was being pulled away from mustang production for the F-150's?
But regardless the F-150 is the big money maker for Ford and so the mustang is going to come a very distance 2nd in their production priority.

Well today he says Ford has taken away/changed the allocations based on production, and that they are now getting only one Laguna Seca, the fourth qtr car, but it's still mine if I want it.

What I originally thought would be June/July delivery, based on production delays, parts shortages, etc. and that I would be able to enjoy it at least for four months and maybe an open track event has become a dead of winter delivery and put away till spring of 2012.

I don't know what else to say or do.
What color and price did you have worked out with the dealer, I may know of an option for you?

OK, I know of a Black LS on the ground, wants $10K over but I think $5K gets it today.

I just called a dealer in PA that has one listed for sticker.

When I spoke to a salesman, he said that's just the suggested price,

we are asking $100K

I hung up on him.

The search continues.

Yup! They've had it for a little while now - it is what they call their show piece, bringing customers from the far reaching banks of the Allegheny!

S-Heads!

On Wed. I'm going to head down to a local dealer with a LS in stock,

sitting on the floor for two months at $15k ADMU.

Walking in with two checks, one made out for sticker,

one made out for sales tax, and $500 cash for doc fees.

Placing all three on the table and tell them take it or leave it.

Hopefully Money talks bull**** walks.

One check should do, shouldn't it?
