Happy Owner
Still have my 2012 Boss. I contacted ever dealer in my area the night of 8/13/10 after Ford made the announcement. I work in the auto industry and knew it was coming. My company worked on the Block program. I was at a dealer the following Thursday reserving my order. Couldn't actually place an order yet as the dealer didn't even know what I was taking about or what a Boss 302 was. I ordered it weeks later when order banks opened up and waited until June of 2011 to pick it up. I hated that allocation process. Still love the sound and feel of driving it. It won't be leaving the family anytime soon!

Bought mine first quarter of 2014 as the second owner. Texas car with no rust and was daily driven by the first owner. Car currently sits with 30k on the clock and a D1X pushing my weekend warrior to 897 whp. Never selling.

Bought mine 5/17 and am 2nd owner RR, 2013, only had 1195 miles on it, like brand new. Have 9000 on it now and in my garage for winter, still like new. Love it, hopefully will never sell it, its amazing how fast a naturally aspirated 444 hp can be. Had some trans issues twice and Ford took care of them both times, thats another story, but the 2nd rebuild seem to do the trick, time will tell. Used braided clutch line and BG fluid, no other changes yet, but shifts great so far. Have a question for you Boss owners. I tried to hang a rechargable work light by magnet from my hood inside and and it wouldnt, giving me the impession that I had a carbon fiber hood or something other than metal. Havent been able find out if that was a special order with the Boss or what I do have. As far as I know, no changes were ever made to the car before I puchased it. Can anyone answer this for me? Does the Boss come stock with some kind of nonmetallic hood? Thanks

I have my 2012 Boss 302 LS for 7 years purchased it in Jan 2012 new
Most of the miles I put on it were in the first 18 months of ownership
by time the winter of 13/14 arrived it had 9000 miles
In Jan 2014 I started what was to be just a new kitchen...…… FF 5 years and it ended up being a complete house redo, doing over 90% of the work myself.
Building g scale train layout for my Grandson , this past year also cut into car hobby time but my grandson is worth it !
The Boss now has just under 13K miles on it.
Plus with all the money I saved doing the house remodel myself I got a GT 350 in Feb 2018

Just wanted to let you know that I am ordering the Qtp cutout and decided to go for the remotes. Didnt like the idea of drilling any holes in the dash. It looks like with the remote, it isnt as much work. Also, according to Qtp, it slips right in and doesnt require any cutting or additional pipes. Very excited about getting out on the highway and have that control when I want it. Thanks again for the info. Al

The QTP Install was easy and the remote was the way to go. I ran mine under the car and the box sits under the rear passenger side seat well and the remote works flawlessly.

Thanks again, I installed mine, not much of a problem. Since my underbody was clean and free of corrosion all the bolts came off easy. Love it and cant wait for spring. I am sure Ill keep them open most of the time, but love the idea of having that option on the highway or a trip with my wife. Love the simplicity of the remotes. I mounted my small box with velcro by the main fuse box and piggy backed in.
