I ordered the Boss before any dealer in town had heard of it. When they finally did months later they called me. They wanted an immediate sale I think rather than waiting on an allocation. And I simply wanted a bare bones Boss to play on the track. I had s luxury GT in my Bimmer, thanks. And a car show toy in my '65 Fastback. Did convince my neighbour to get the GT 500 over a BMW 335i though.

I see a Shelby in my future, but I waiting for something lighter and more nimble especially after reading a piece written by Ol' Shel who says he's looking forward to the next step in the Shelby line which will be, wait for it... Lighter and more nimble. Do love the neighbor's car though, we've traded and they are very different but both thrilling cars in their own right.
