1150 Miles. Fly/Drive

My oldest daughter is the office manager of Sun State Ford Orlando; drove home to DFW.

One of the best drives ever!

 

Mine was about 320 miles... roughly one tank of gas on the highway. Saved about 5K and a plane ticket + another 120 or so miles.

 

Going to buy 600+miles away. Ford will deliver to my local dealer 5miles away.

 

14 to pick it up. 45 taking the long way home!

Was closest I could find a Race Red for MSRP.

 

I did the deal for my car with a dealer over 1200 miles away, but then had the car courtesy delivered to my dealer only 10 miles away.

went to get an oil change the other day out front was a race red both options sitting on display. Listed at MSRP probably could have been had for less. Dealership was littered with 2013 Roush stage 3s too. If I could have waited with winter coming now would have been a much better time to buy but I've had a GREAT summer with the car.

 

I flew out and drove it back to Connecticut from Seymour Indiana. About 820 miles. Got there and drove it home the same day!

 

A good break-in drive

 

It was a blast!!! If I had to do it again, I would have enjoyed it a little more and spread the ride out over at least two days though.

 

Yeh, thats an epic drive. Farthest I've driven in one day was 1200 miles. But it was in my wife's Altima, not my Boss. Fortunately I had my cat with me to take over when I needed a nap.
