Gas mileage

Is anyone else only getting 12 mpg on their Boss?
My 715 hp Cobra gets 15.

I seem to avg 16+. The lie-o-meter reads as high as 26-27 at 60mph and as low as 14-16 at 90+. Ripping around taking people for rides I avg maybe 12.

I'm getting 13 on the street and 7.5 on the track. I did see 16 once.

I am averaging 16-17 mpg when I drive it to work, but that includes a rather slow 65-70mph highway commute due to over-the-top enforcement on the stretch I take.

Hitting it hard around town gets me 13-15, so 12 is not out of the question by any means.

Last weekend, with so many slow cars clogging the roads, I concentrated on increasing the mpg by short shifting, using 6th after 45 mph, coasting, etc. and got just shy of 20 mpg in combined country road and city driving for about 30 miles. Then I took a friend for a ride and that all went to pot.

Driving back to Fl from MI after the Power Tour, I averaged between 24.7 - 26.4mpg using the cruise control set 68-78mph for 1100 miles. While with the tour it was 14-18 mpg.

If you read the comments everyone is saying they get 20+ on the HWY. It is easy to kill the number having fun though.

As someone has said. It's not miles per gallon but smiles per gallon. My best so far is 20.4 on a trip from Austin to Houston. Right now I'm lucky to stay in the 14's with my driving style. The Boss is not an econo-mobile. It's a driving machine! Enjoy.

19 on the drive home. Or one tank of gas for just under 300 miles.

I haven't seen above 14. I have not been on the highway to any degree.

None of these numbers sound much different than my Bullitt.

13-14 in town, ~20 highway at 65-75mph.
I was averaging ~12mpg the first week: too much fun. I am not sure it is feasible to expect good gas mileage out of 444hp.
My DD is a Honda Element with relatively low gearing and the aerodynamics of a toaster. For the performance increase in the Boss, I am not disappointed with the mpg.

20.6 on my first tank running around town and on country roads. Still breaking it in so not to agressive yet.
However that does not mean I have not run it out a bit

13.6-14.2 daily driving. Saw 20.x with the cruise set at 90mph from Abilene to Wichita Falls though.

Just filled up and checked mileage on last 2 tanks, 20.9 and 21.6. Both of those about 75% highway. Doubt I'll see better fhan 24 on constant highway driving

At least let them break in a bit. My 05 only got 16-18 when I first got it. Now it gets over 24mpg.

I just took a road trip from Anchorage to Fairbanks. ~27 at 55-65
And on the way back almost 29. I was driving vary easy and I have noticed
the mileage has gotten a lot better with some mileage on it. I think that the
21-22 would be a good guess for all around use. Drops a lot at the strip though
A lot better than I thought it would ever do!
