black-out paint

Great Idea! I will definitely look into that. But I don't even have a build date yet. Supposed to be Q2

Ive only got 100 miles on mine, but I'm starting to find the noise a bit loud without the disks. Might have to find a compromise, as putting them in and out would be annoying.

I've been wondering about this. As previously mentioned s197ford, a member here who worked on the Boss exhaust system, recommends drilling out the holes to 1/2". What is the current hole size? The beauty is you can tune the sound to your liking.

Stock diameter is 5/16". 1/2" would yield about 2.5x the stock area.

Sounds like a good place to start. Let us know if you try it.

I know this way premature, but I looked at Quicktime's other products, and from them, I believe their technology may require removing a section of the OEM pipe(s) to make room for their electric valve.

If it does require modification of the stock plumbing, I'll pass and just drill out the disks.

The owner of quicktime posted a photo in one of the threads here and I believe it's going to be a bolt on accessory. I think that's why the thick spacer is on the car. You'll remove it and the disc and install the valve.

Here it is, post #59.

That makes sense. I wonder where the power comes from. I used to have a boat with a dump valve, it was called "captain's call".

Not sure about the power source but they will have a wireless remote.

Funny I just passed 100 myself and took a normal ride to feel out the shifting. I was thinking the same thing, it is a bit loud, not real annoying but maybe attracting unwanted attention. Let me know how it works out for you but at least I understand now why they made the hole so small. I need more then 100 to figure it all out.

Since the three of us are similar in age I think I'm going to have a similar opinion.
