East Coast Event For Boss 302's

The SCMC will be holding its east coast Superfest event at Virginia International Raceway on May 25-27, 2012. This is the same event that Ford Motor Company brought out their Bosses and gave charity rides all weekend long. We would like to get as many Boss 302 owners to the event as we possibly can and if we can get enough participation, we can make an "all Boss 302" run group but that would depend on your skill level. The event will have instructors available of you have never run a road course and VIR is the ultimate track in the Mid-Atlantic. Participants will also get to enjoy doing parade laps if they do not want to run the road course.

Find out more about this event by going to www.svtcobraclub.com

Thanks for the heads up! I will definitely keep that on my list of things to do.

I'll be there again!

For everyone that doesn't already know, Tony and the SCMC run an outstanding event. This is definitely something worth working into your schedules.

I will second that. The event was well planned. A lot of good people and the camaraderie was great. My only complaint was there wasn't a third day......and now there is so they must have listened . If you can attend I would HIGHLY suggest it. VIR is one of the best tracks in the country......

+ 3

I went last year for the Memorial day event with my R and had a blast, first time at the track .

I'm seriously leaning towards doing this event and Watkins Glen three weeks later.

Hi Dave!
That would be a great few weeks. I'm not sure which track I like the best between those 2. I used to like the Glen the best until this last time at VIR. Now I'm not so sure.

Hope to see you there on Memorial Day!

Just bringing this to the top.
There are several Bosses coming but was hoping for more!
I know it's a holiday weekend but it's not very often you get a chance to run VIR full course for 3 days.

LOL

The only bright spot is between the Saturday wedding and Monday graduation party, Sunday night ZZ Top is playing at Foxwoods Casino, CT., only an hour away.. I'll be able to go to that.

I'm way too young to know who they are.
