Decisions.... Storage for 2 yrs or sell?

There seem to be a good number of owners in Europe. Very cool.

More by the day it seems! Can't wait for the weather to get better so I can get the Boss out of the garage. I'm down to take some trips as well, some awesome roads here.

I was just looking at next years track schedule. Looks like I'm going to be very busy.

That has to be nice, had some snow last week. THis weekend was beautiful and I was very tempted to put the battery back in and go for a spin! Back on topic, if it was me and I had a follow-on to Europe I would either ship at my own cost or see if I could get a shipping approved, even if to the follow-on location. And FWIW if I could get 90K€ for the Boss here like somebody claimed it would be sold tomorrow and I would be looking for another one.

Honestly, that's what I'm leaning towards right now. Like I just posted on MS, right now I just don't have the entitlement coming from TMO to ship the car at the gov't expense. Don't have a clue where I want to go for a follow on, and given the horrendous parking/driving conditions local to where I'm headed, I don't know if I'd want the BOSS to make the trip for any reason other than to sell it to a local. I'm still awaiting some info from the folks I used to work with at the vehicle shipping company prior to enlisting, and am VERY interested in seeing if there is any true interest in the vehicle over there. Seeing the 90k figure thrown around is enticing, but I want to see how close that is to reality, and what that translates into for me as a seller after importing and going through customs and the taxes, etc.

I still think you shouldn't sell. I'm keeping mine forever, it'll have a lot of history, and has heritage to live up too. I wanna be one of those old guys who collects cars and this will be a staple of that collection.

I want to be an old guy that drives the wheels off my car. You can only drive one at a time.

Already have plans to pick up a '69 at some point! Just need to "retire" somewhere I don't have to put them away for half the year!

A little bored on shift so...... Stelvio pass is just under 600km from my place. Sure it would be an awesome weekend trip and well worth the memories. Just need to brake the news to the wife now, lol.

The wife here is already aware of my plans. She wants no part in it since I showed her the pics of the road. I'm planning next summer/fall sometime. The key is to go when there are no events going on. Lost of bicyclist groups invade it for races.

Haven't broke the news to the wife yet. Have a friend that just PCS'd in with an '03 Cobra that would probably be down for the trip as well. Agree on the bikes too.

Just found this one for sale. Thought I'd share. Comes out to just over 80k.
