but why did they choose the silver LS

Something that never occurred to me before is that the hood on the LS is not painted with the wide stripe. It may have been discussed before but I just caught that.

There are no stripes on the LS hood. You have to ask???
Tape on the sides and hood, paint on the roof.

The 69 was a better looking car but really had more in common with the 68 (mechanically and suspension wise). The 70 Boss with the stripe kit was one of the best looking cars ever. I just wish I could have waited for the 13, if it comes with more options like the shaker, 70 style stripes and grabber colors I will have to get one

Yep, most of the hood was painted flat black. While the 12 is not the same it is along the same lines. The 70 was painted in the middle and the stripes were on each side then running all the way to the back.

Was at the show on the 13th. As shown, they had a CO and Blue Boss and a Silver LS.
Hate to say it, but the CO does look like tomato soup under those lights. I noted there was not blue lights directly on the car, but there were plenty up there to reflect on it.
The last several years the Ford booth was THE booth, but this year many other makers stepped it up big time. Ford's exhibit actually felt weird as it was wide open, good for foot traffic, but I left feeling that they did better in years past.
Regarding the Boss, I remain disappointed that Ford didn't flat black the wheels and stripes, but it looks good in person, particularly the interior.
