A/C on Boss?

I don't recall reading anything at this early stage about whether A/C would be available on the the Boss or Boss LS.

For those of you who seen the Boss at Woodward, did you spot an A/C compressor or condenser?

Thanks.

It's based on a base GT. I'm sure it has a/c, power windows, and probably cruise control. Anything that's standard on a base GT.

I'm sure it will be standard on the regular Boss, I could see it as possibly a delete option on the LS.

Ford would need to have a heat only underdash air box but since no current Mustang comes that way they would have to develope one.

You need ac for a defroster right? No way they can leave that off of a "street car". Power windows are all they have where would the money for roll ups come from? I was told the Boss will have a basic radio. All fine but the no sound deadening is freaking me out. Does anybody have any details on this?

You won't be able to hear any road noise if you take out the exhaust attenuator plates, no worries

The Boss is not going to be some stripped to the bone race car. While you're not going to be able to order a glass roof, etc. it is going to come with a few creature comforts.

All the pics of the prototypes thus far show the full engine compartment sound deadening, including new material on the strut towers.

Motor Trend's close interior pics of the LS Boss show an A/C button. One more confirmation.

I am not familiar with how the line is set up if every car is sprayed the Boss would be also. Could the 11 pounds have come from the interior? It seems that is the place to leave something out. If you plan on driving the car a lot noise is an issue. Come on you factory guys let us know.

Is 11 lbs of sound deadening material similar in volume, like 11 lbs of home insulation is?

They are very different.

This is one example of a vehicle sound deadening mat:

It is lightweight at only .66 lb/sqft. I imagine Ford would use something similar, or maybe even more heay duty. Keep in mind this dynamat type product is used in addition to what was already in the vehicle.
