There will be little business if any for the exhaust aftermarket folks with the Boss, for sure. Shifting at high RPMs will fell like ecstacy. I'd say the '11 GT500 exhaust note is between the with the plate and without the plate sound which is great.
The Boss exhaust note is a dream come true for the loud and obnoxious...

Of the videos I have seen that gives you the best idea so far but you really need to hear it in person, there is quite a difference. Then after driving it

Now that you've had a little bit of time with your boss, do you feel with the disc removed, it's too much for a daily driver? I'm wondering if the electric dumps should be installed for the times you don't want to hear the loud exhaust notes .

Nowdays, you are correct. Everytime,I here something, with a V8 rumble, coming down the road, most likely it's a truck with performance exhaust. I'm always turning my head, expecting some performance muscle car!
Back in the day....completely the opposite.

I just think there are times to remain more low key and that is why I would like to tone it back some. Under a spirited take off you may attract attention even if you are at speed limit. Also it is nowhere near loud enough to wake up the neighbors but they can hear it and they don't need to know every time I come and go.
Anyway it may be best to wait for the others guys to answer since I have few miles on the car. I have not put any real highway miles on the car and do not use it for DD where you can get a better feel for things like this.

Hit 50 today and finally got to run with a window down. Not too loud at all with the windows open. It's really just under hard acceleration or WOT when it's loud. It could be an issue if you're getting squirrelly and someone sees you that you don't want to, but for the most part I think you'll be o.k. I noticed that cruising down the intersate windows down you don't even hear it unless you get on it.

I actually kind of like that sound. Not to mention, it's actually engine braking which is intentional. I'm just wondering how much harder it is with TracKey. I can see now you have to manage the blip on downshift as the RPMs fall very rapidly. Even more so with TracKey presumably.
