Was wondering if i could find a driver side only "boss 302" recaro seat. No scrap yards around where i live that has any. Anyone out there know of any and how much would just the driver side be?

What happened to your current one?

 

There has been several listings on ebay for covers an occasionally seat for sale. I was able to purchase a complete set for 1200.00 including shipping. Where you will find them are from guys who purchase 302S`s to run on the track. they generally replace them with track seats and sale the originals which are base 302 Recaro seats.

My boss was one of the few without the optional recaro seats. I had no choice in the matter. I'll check ebay

 

I would call some of the race shops like Watson or Reagan. They may have some from converting street cars. Good luck on you search.

 

It sure would be nice if someone came up with good seat covers for the recaro seats as the material is not going to last very long in a daily driver. I only have 15k on the car and they are showing some wear already from sliding in and out of the seat. You might try all the other forums for used seats and Late model restoration sells them new w/o the Boss logo. Good luck on your search.

Ford racing sells a recaro seat set that is very similar to the oem boss seats. Maybe you can contact ford racing and buy those seats and swap seat covers with takeoff or new boss 302 fabric. The ford racing ones are embroided with "ford racing" instead of "boss 302"

 

Don't buy just the drivers side, get the pair. Your best bet is to post a WTB post on various classified sections on Boss forums, and SVT. My 2c.

 

Considered a set of aftermarket seats as well? Corbeau makes some nice ones...
