Not sure I get the Boss and Boss owner bashing. I've been a Mustang guy since I was 3 years old when I saw the insurance man's Pony in my parents driveway coming to make a sales call. That was 1967. I have an 86 GT that I will keep and a Boss that I will get in another week. Mustangs are icons and it isn't in my make-up to bash other ones no matter what year or vintage. A Mustang is a Mustang.

I've been thinking about a V8 Mustang since the redesign. Decided I would wait a couple more years. However, when they came out with the Boss and then Competition Orange, I was hooked. I feel like a kid a week before Christmas!

 

You left out that this is the best sounding Mustang that Ford has ever made. I cannot believe the sound of the stock exhaust system! It truly is like driving in a race car.

 

Some folks are just jealous that no one is talking about their car and that all the car magazines are raving about the Boss 302. And so they respond by trying to deflate the joy Boss owners feel. Of course one look (at the Boss) and one ride (in the Boss) is enough to derail their best attempts.

The car is a FLAWLESS performer.

 

Just ignore the jealous haters. They have to do what they have to do to compensate for the fact that they're not driving a Boss.

 

I traded in my GT for my Boss, i was feelin' sad about it for the first 24 hrs, wish I could have both. But I agree, i have been giddy just waking up and lookin at that amazing machine!

 

It's cute how you two guys find each other entertaining.

 

Well, they are doing a lot to make sure the Boss threads are at the top of the New Posts page.
