Boss LS at WATKINS GLEN

OK ,got the Boss out on the track with the new brakes and bigger rear sway.My goal was no brake issues and getting rid of the dreaded understeer.Good news! Solved both problems! Now I just need to figure out how to get tires to last more than a day.
Here is some video

For brake pads I use Carbo tech xp20's on the front and xp12's on the rear.
The brakes are the 302 r/s brakes they run in World challenge and Grand Am.
The swaybar came with the 302 r/s suspension set up.It comes with 2 rear sways a small one like 18mm (not sure on the size) and a larger one 22mm.I tried the smaller on and still had under steer. I now have the 22mm in and just love it!For tires I am running Hoosiers R6's I did 424 miles in 2 days and used 60 gallons of gas.Put me on a race track and I am one happy guy!

Rocketman,I was at the Glen in may with my LS and I had the understeer problem as well. I have worked all season try different setting and left foot brakeing. I just this week end sloved the problem also. The car runs sweet. I used the cortex watts link set up. with a lot of adjustments to the link, camber, toe out and tire press. It worked. Just something to think about. A lot of mine was throttle induced.,but hell thats what it is about. I love the Glen

This could very well be a record for the shortest ownership period of a Boss. If not it's got to be close. Btw, will the 997 cup be for PCA racing or some other series or both?

Well. Acton MA is not 'right outside' of Boston, it's more 'way the hell down 495...' I guess distances are relative, MA is a lot smaller than a lot of other states, so it's all good...

Will be interesting to see if your next ride lives up to your expectations. Good luck to you sir, I hope your next ride is as satisfying as your last.
