Gary, so if the car is delivered tomorrow (Tuesday) what will be your total transit time from when it left the plant on a rail car to when it was delivered to your dealer?

It shipped on 3/10 at 5:00 p.m. ET so 11-12 days depending on whether I see it today or tomorrow. It left via truck at 5:00 a.m. CT and needs to travel 270 miles so depending on where I'm at in the queue it will be here today or tomorrow

 

Congrats Gary! Mine is supposed to land at the dealer tomorrow as well!

sweet, do you have the base seats? If you do I'd love to see a picture of what they look like. Every person here on the forums got the Recaro seats!

 

Looks great Steve. What are your driving impressions so far? Have you had a chance to really put it through its paces?

 

Steve your Boss looks great. How do you like the Recaro's and what do you think of the white roof now that you've had the car for a few days?

Gary, haven't really had the chance to really hammer it for an extended period yet but I can tell you it REALLY pulls hard especially in the upper RPM's As others have said, the car is VERY quiet except under full throttle. I plan to attack my favorite stretch of two lane this weekend so I'll give you a better reaction to how it handles then.

Rick, the color combination is really growing on me to the point that I have decided not to paint the roof or change the stripe colors. The color combination looks MUCH, MUCH better in person than in photos. My wife even asked, is that the color you ordered because it doesn't look the same as all the photos you have been showing me. The Recaros are great, some of the best seats I've ever sat in. Only issue is entry and exit is slightly restricted due to the side bolsters but the comfort of the seats is well worth that slight restriction

Yeah I'm not fan of Ford offerings from the factory. However, I wouldn't change a thing! It is great as it is!!!! To change it would wreck the value. That would haunt you forever.

 

I'm not worried about the value. While I will make some changes I doubt I will touch the paint and stripes. The original Boss I ordered arrives next week. It's mine if I want to pay $5k ADM. I'll wait another 4-12 weeks until my current order arrives.

In the meantime I hope everyone keeps posting lots of photos of their new Boss cars.

Well it looks great! It is too quiet with the discs in so that can be changed easily It's 30 degrees here with a light snow.....that isn't sticking. Looks like it will push through in the next couple hours. I think I'll go get it anyway.....it'll wash! Maybe I'll do the CTS-V test and see if the wipers will stay on the windshield at 190 Unfortunately there will be no traction with these temps and it's not going to warm up until next week, and then only 40s low 50s Oh I got block heater so I might as well be the first to drive their Boss in the snow I'm probably the only guy with this many mods and haven't even sat in the car let alone driven it

 

Just make sure you post pictures of your car so some of us with first day, first quarter builds can see what a Boss looks like

Mark did you gets yours? Gary's is at the dealer in GA but he has not picked it up. Very low number but I will let him post about it.
