It does have a short throw shifter compared to a GT.

Cloud9,
Can you expound on this please. I know the Boss has a panhard Bar. Are you saying you tracked the boss with and without the Watts? I'm not made of $$, so I don't need to throw away money.
Thanks

Seems a lot of you getting bosses are tracking them how much will tint effect your ability on the track? Rear view obviously.

I have tracked the Boss stock. I have a heavily modified GT500 with a Watts Link. The GT500 needed it BAD. The Boss doesn't have that same uneasy feeling from the rear. It plants and goes. I personally don't think there's much to be gained by changing it. The Boss suspension is setup from the factory far better than I could have imagined.

Just eliminates the need for me to ever give a point by. There's only one club I run with that has windows up and that's just the driver side (cracked), all others are down so no issue on side windows. There's really no visibility issue anyway with 20% tint. Also, windshields can't be tinted in ANY state I believe.

I might try that shifter bracket also. Mine feels a little cluncky when I shift. Anyone else having that issue?

i had the mgw on my 10 and it's throws on 6 tunrs are a fraction of what the boss shifter is. i realyl miss it. MGW shifters are awesome and they are close to produciton on the party accroding to a thread i read somewhere. the barton part is not somehting i have heard of.

the post i read from MGW was from the engineer that actualyl desings the shifter. He made note that they were workgi to find the right rduction, too much and the tranny clunked and had issues. i want to say he said 40 or 45% reduction didnt engage the gears or somethign to that effect. if i find the post i throw it up, im on a lot of forums and just cant recall where it was. i think it was modded mustangs.

I want to 1) assuming I ever get my Boss and 2) I can stop the dealer from installing the plate mount.

I guess I got the last 1, sorry. You can google it and find it in other sites, but this was the cheapest I found. Or wait a few weeks. I'm sure they will restock
