Boss in drag!!

Trim that is. Took a few shots with the drag wheel setup. Our local track opened up a few weeks ago. Timing equipment wasn't working opening night. Hoping I get some times this coming weekend.

Those are some awsum pictures. The camera angles are perfect. I have never seen a Boss Mustang look so good as a drag car. Thanks for posting. Always nice to see new things done to the Boss 302.

Looks awesome! What size tires and rims are they? I'm looking for the exact same setup for next summer.

Wow thanks for all the feedback, 17x4.5 front, 15x10 rears. Rear require relocating the sway bar, bmr sells a cheap and easy kit, as do others. Rear tires are 12.5 wide.

I can't figure out how to copy a url, so just go to youtube and look up 2012 boss vs. 418 stroker SS. It's a poor phone video but still neat.

Obviously, the Brawlin Boss has done alot of research and figured out how to squeeze tires on the Boss to give it the right attitude and performance. Maybe he should be looking for customers who want his setup. Looks like he has the tire deal figured out.

Nice setup, can't wait till you get some time slips, I was debating if I should buy my buddies 18 inch rear with nittos 555r mounted for 700 or just start from scratch and buy some 15s on star wheels, as I prefer MT/ET street radials over Nittos.
I tried my 17s but they were on 26 tall and I was topped out in 4th.

Did you disable the TPS?...........Are the rears tires screwed to the rims? didn't see any screws.

The rear tires appear to be M/T ET Streets, bias ply.

Rear tires are not screwed, but the competition is, ha!!, I raced a GTR and had him, then I guess I got excited/ nervous and missed a gear, I was still able to almost catch-up to him. He didn't want to race again, he is doing some mods to his car now, guess he felt me at his heels. I forgot to mention I will be out there with a fellow Boss owner. I set him up with 15x8 rears ( no sway bar relocate ) and m/t drag radials. He ran the same night and almost hit the wall. BTW he has the track key just new to any kind of racing. As for the tpms it is active and warning me, no big deal.

NICE!!!

The 17" fronts off of my PJ wouldn't clear the Boss calipers. I'll have to look into ANOTHER set when I get a LS.
