Thanks guys.
I'm not a collector, so the value of it isnt a big deal. But I do plan to keep it til I die!(hopefully that is along time from now!) This will be my first new car.
As long as I cant tell when its done... when I think about it, it kinda irritates me, but a look at the pictures I took - and it's all better.
I'm half considering having them paint the roof Kona Blue right now while they are at it.. The white hood is ok, but the roof is silly. I wont do it...not yet anyway.
Thanks again for the feedback. It helps to hear other opinions.

OK - so help me out here guys...
I spoke with the dealer again. They have the bumper off and are repainting it to fix the scratch. He said he didnt think he would have the rear stickers in on Wednesday. I can take it without them and bring it back to have them installed when they are available.
Part of me is upset that my brand new car is not perfect. It will always be 'tainted' a little bit.
Would you take this one, or take the next one that will built 2nd quarter and hope for no issues?
Tell me it wont bother me in 10 years that the bumper was repainted..

I used to work in a Ford Bumper plant. 10% of all bumpers are repainted, and not always the same color. Every once and a while we would pull a bumper for testing off the production line and it would have 5 different colors on it.
Few Plastic bumper go through life without some paint repair. My Teenager has gotten me to repaint both Front and back of my 2001 Mustang convertable in his first 2 years of driving. You'll be fine!

"How dare you! She's a nice lady!"
"You take that back!"
I feel your pain. When my parents got my car they got it brand new off the lot and for some reason the weather strip was a little messed up.. I got it in perfect condition but after they told me () it seemed "tainted" like you said.. But after about a week, I didn't care anymore, because it was perfect.

Everyone’s got a right to their option GAYPNY
Opps let me fix that “GRAYPNY” I looked at your avatar and like a word association game I though that picture was GAY and now I know I was wrong……
Someday you will look back and realize you too were wrong!

hold on there...
Yes, GRAYPNY probably should have kept his unprovoked negative comments to himself.
But that doesn't mean you have to take it to the next level. chill everyone.
