Ford Racing had this one-off Boss 302SX Concept on display at PRI this past week:

That's one mean looking car.

 

I wish we could see the rear spoiler, since I can't see it I wonder if its low profile like the 2012 Boss stock?

 

I do believe it uses the LS rear wing.

One of the pix does show the rear wing, and its looks like the regular Boss 302S wing. Stands up really high in the rear. Its black, so the firrst pix it is hard to see. There is a pic of it from the rear in the article.

I think FRPP needs to offer the intake/TB/CAI/Tune combo for BOSS302 owners.

holy **** now that is what i'm talking about. looks 1000x better than the 2012 Boss 302S in my opinion. gah i'd give my left nut for that thing. Wonder where they'd price it if they put it into production?

Friend are you listening here.....? 987654321 people think this is a product that should be made available to consumers yesteday... This is not even counting all the GT owners that would no doubt be highly interested in its effects on their cars....

 

I love that intake, the oval throttle body always looked better than the round one!

 

So is this where we post to petition FRPP to make the afore mentioned intake performance kit? Because I'm in!

 

Looks like it may be official; this just posted on Ford Racing's Facebook page:

Building on the original tradition of the 1969 Boss, the Boss 302SX is the latest turnkey race car from Ford Racing. It joins the FR500C, Cobra Jet, BOSS 302R and BOSS 302S. It is powered by a 5.0 BOSS R V-8.

Wonder what the price will be?!

 

That's great, but we want the intake etc available as a power pack for the street cars!

 

Ok, then buy the car, take the intake, tb and all off of it, and throw me the scraps!

 

If I could afford to do that, I would already own a '12 302S. I'll keep this proposal in mind, however.
