The hood is probably not a good idea for a daily driver in the winter.

Sorry I forgot that it never rains there and hurricanes and tornados only happen in neighboring states.

The water is not going to hurt anything in the engine bay.

This.

I had a Saleen S351 hood on my SN95 car in Sunny, err Rainy Florida for years and never had a single problem (despite the fact that the hood vents were basically flanking the distributor on either side)

lol, its a daily driven show car that can race with a license plate. i drive it in the rain even and generally the back seat is covered in glitter and filled with a pink car seat for my daughter. i even get take out in it and a few weeks ago i had to go out and scrub white chocolate out of the seat from letting the kids have candy. i take care of my cars though, it doesn't stay dirty long, but generally i'm driving the shat out of it and only hide it when it hails. I even allow it to mount the occasional GM product and random euro trash. Having this car and not driving it is like dating a nympho supermodel and not drilling her so hard her vajajay needs a vacation.

I can't believe how many times I have been caught in the rain this year since getting the hood. Hasn't effected it all. The hood does great job along with everything else keeping the car aero slick at 135+.

Can you feel the increased downforce with the hood at speed?

A friend has driven both my car with 450whp and another friends with 650whp he says the 650 car felt loose and flighty like it is hitting a brick wall at 135 mine felt stable and ready to go faster.
