What about people who ordered a 2012 BOSS? No mark up, right?

Unfortunately, there is a lot of money in that area of the country. If they wait they will sell it with the mark-up. Which I think sucks

Most dealerships make their money from having you finance with them. Offering cash is actually going to hurt your chances instead of help them.

exactly. cash means nothing to dealers now. they want you to finance and keep paying them monthly charges

I have one on order for MSRP. When I was calling around one dealer told me $25K markup. I laughed and hung up on them.

My original order was with a VERY LARGE dealer in the valley. They wanted a 5K ADM. I got an email earlier this week that the car will be there on the 29th and it still has my name on it. I told them if it's at MSRP we have a deal otherwise release it. So there's a KB Boss with Recaro/Torsen available for probably a lot more than 5K over next week if anyone wants it. I found a small local dealer with only one Boss for MY2012 and they sold it to me for MSRP, it's a Q2 car. I want the car now, I've been looking to buy a new car since last July, but for $5 grand I can wait another 90 days.

I think I know what dealer you're talking about... =D

But, you lose the awesome plaque that has a number lower than 100!

Dealers ARRANGE loans with banks, they don't collect payments.

Cash or payments, dealer gets his money quickly. When someone finances the relationship with that particular lender gets stronger. There is usually a sort of kick back if the dealer finances a certain quota with a specific lender. That's business 101
