Boss 302 QTP Electric Cut Outs
The bigger question is why did your friend remove them...after all the effort to install them?
I've got a set on the shelf and still pondering whether to put them on the car...................
He is selling the car to build a race car. He had done a few mods to it, springs, camber plates etc but figured it best to restore the LS to factory for the sale.
I run them wide open around town with the Ford Racing touring mufflers and the sound is absolutey incredible-not too loud (I get a lot off people on the street actually turn and admire the car). Butt dyno says awesome.
The cutouts are "infinitely" variable so you can adjust them as much as you want and can even turn them off to go stealthy.
No reason to cut your shift boot, I fed the wires up through the emergency brake cable grommet. The grommet is a soft foam and I fed the wires in between the body and the foam ( I used a long zip tie because it's flat and won't damage the grommet) then cut the wires to length and soldered them. I mounted the switch in the easily replaced aux mini jack plate in the center storage compartment.
Highly recommend.
PM Sent with questions Thanks
I highly recommend installing them. When installing them, it became clear the side dumps had been designed with the electric cutouts in mind.
